De Vere Beaumont Estate set in Old Windsor has a magnificent Georgian manor house as its centrepiece and is our largest hotel estate with 429 bedrooms, 45 meeting & event spaces, and over 40 acres of grounds. A hotel of this size means we have a variety of food and beverage outlets and some great bars on site, so we regularly host some pretty incredible conferences, events and weddings.

Join our brigade at De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor. With a strong focus on conferences and events, we offer buffet-style breakfasts and lunches, and a modern British menu served in our restaurant, bar, and lounge areas throughout the day.
In return this role offers £37,072 per year and excellent benefits including free use of the gym facilities, a complimentary 2 night stay with us every year plus additional stays for £50 per room, time off over the Christmas period and a paid day off for your birthday in addition to your holidays!
You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop, and have the opportunity to join our Level 4 Chef Apprenticeship.
As a Sous Chef you will:
- Support the Exec / Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations
- Help create and develop new dishes and menus
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality food within your section
- Assist with ordering and managing stock, while controlling costs
- Lead, train, and mentor junior chefs in the brigade
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety standards
What we look for in a Sous Chef:
- Experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen
- A strong team player who leads by example and stays calm under pressure
- Great attention to detail and consistently high standards
