We host movie premier after parties, high profile fashion, music and charity events, exciting exhibitions and conferences, large weddings and corporate meetings: our impressive event space and extensive meeting facilities means this property is always buzzing and an incredibly fun place to work.
De Vere Latimer Estate has 205 bedrooms, 27 meeting and event spaces plus 30 acres of land for team building, 3 restaurants, 5 bars plus a Gym and swimming pool. Your commute: This role will be based at the Grand Connaught Rooms, which is just 5 minutes from Covent Garden and Holborn tube stations and 30 minutes’ walk from Kings Cross, St Pancras and Euston train stations, we're well-connected for all major London transport links.

Cluster Finance Assistant
Looking for a Finance role within the hospitality sector?
We have an exciting opportunity to join De Vere as Cluster Finance Assistant.
As Cluster Finance Assistant you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Finance departments at both properties. You will be responsible for tasks from processing deposit ledger and sales ledger invoices, to chasing payments and creating invoices for our valued clients – all while maintaining strict adherence to financial and client deadlines. You’ll also have an opportunity to develop and implement effective financial policies with leadership from each properties Financial Controllers.
This role involves working 40 hours per week on site Monday to Friday. You will be based at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London Covent Garden, but the role also covers De Vere Latimer Estate in Buckinghamshire, so occasional travel to this property will also be required.
What we look for in a Cluster Finance Assistant:
• Previous experience in finance or a relevant qualification, demonstrating your understanding of financial processes
• An interest in the hospitality and events industry and the ability to deliver high standards of service
• The ability to work effectively with numbers and communicate with others both from within the Hotel and external clients
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and in particular Microsoft Excel. While experience with accounting software & Opera is desirable, it is not essential – we value your ability to adapt and learn.
If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with numbers, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your finance skills in the hospitality industry.
