Night Cleaner
Have you got the attention to detail to make our hotel sparkling when all our guests are asleep in our bedrooms?
We are looking for a Night Cleaner to join us at The Grand Hotel Birmingham.
As a Night Cleaner you work within the “heart of the house” bring your personality and flair to provide a warm, always welcome friendly service to our guests. The guest journey is paramount, so you'll know how to deliver a fantastic experience for our guests, time and time again achieving Grand standards.
Flexible contracted hours available to suit your availability and the needs of the business.
Night Cleaner Shifts will generally be 21:00 - 05:30 / 22:00 - 06:30 - 8 hours per shift with a 30min unpaid break
What the role requires of you
• To promote an always welcome and professional image to the guest, and give full co-operation to any guest requiring assistance, forging great relationships
• To maintain cleanliness of reception lobby, guest lifts, main hotel entrance
• To clean and service all restrooms, hallways and guest facilities to a Grand standard
• To clean and maintain Madeleine, Isaac’s restaurant and M&E function spaces
• To clean the Grand Ballroom and toilets as required
• To maintain lifts cleanliness, lift runners & mirrors internally
• To maintain and service all corridors daily on all ground floor areas, including high and low dusting, glass on fire doors
• Hoovering and polishing the grand staircases daily
• Staff changing facilities cleaned daily, ensuring staff amenities are replenished
• To complete any additional deep cleaning schedule assigned to you as per Public Area Supervisor/ Housekeeping Management
What you will bring to the role
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience is desired but not essential, but must be willing to learn
• Be fully flexible to be able to work shift patterns through weekdays and weekends
• The ability to work with independence and reliability
