De Vere Beaumont Estate
De Vere Beaumont Estate set in Old Windsor has a magnificent Georgian manor house as its centrepiece and is our largest hotel estate with 429 bedrooms, 45 meeting & event spaces, and over 40 acres of grounds. A hotel of this size means we have a variety of food and beverage outlets and some great bars on site, so we regularly host some pretty incredible conferences, events and weddings.
Emerging Leader Programme
Considering your career options or looking for an alternative to university? Why not consider joining the De Vere Emerging Leader Programme?
If you are enjoying working in hospitality and events with us at De Vere and are looking for a structured development programme to kick start your career, consider joining the Emerging Leader programme at De Vere Beaumont Estate.
About the De Vere Emerging Leader Programme: The programme runs for between 15-18 months during which time you will gain valuable experience and insight into each operational department that makes a large hotel and events venue run smoothly.
You will emerge from the programme with the skills, experience and development you need to take on your first hospitality supervisory level position or equivalent with De Vere. In addition to valuable work experience and the skills you have learnt and developed on the job, you will also have the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor apprenticeship qualification (if you don’t already have one).
Programme structure
The De Vere Emerging Leader Programme begins with an insight into some of the departments at the heart of running a Hotel & Event venue. For the first 6 months you will spend time in 6 different departments learning new skills to gain an excellent foundation. The departments will include Conference & Events, Bar, Restaurant, Reception, Housekeeping & the Kitchen.
After this initial phase, you will do 2 further rotations both for further 3 months – one of these 3 month rotations will be selected based on business/operational requirements and the other department you will choose. During this phase you will start to develop your supervisory skills and take on supervisory level duties.
The final phase of the programme will last between 3-6 months and you will choose your final rotation based on which department you wish to specialise in and focus your career.
During the programme you will be assigned a Mentor from within the Company who will be on hand to offer you guidance and support. You will also be invited to take part in 3 De Vere Emerging Leader development days, along with everyone else on the programme, as well as various other training courses/qualifications
Start Date & Hours of Work
If you are successful and join the programme you will work full time and will be required to work a variety of hours and days depending on the department in which you are working. These will include a mixture of early starts from 6am, day shifts and late finishes between 11pm and even 2am (for late events).
You must be available to commence the programme on a Full Time basis from Tuesday 1st September 2026.
