What is the main purpose of the role?
Potential candidates would commence November 2019 with completion of their contract end of June 2020
Your key responsibility in this role will be to achieve and exceed the revenue target for the venue through structured sales planning, organising the FAM trip calendar and carrying out sales appointments.
Together with the Regional Sales Director, you will create and implement the annual Sales & Marketing plan for your property, identifying customers to generate new business, and specifically targeting larger clients who will yield more revenue for the conference and training business, building long term, profitable client relationships.
Using competitor analysis and your understanding of the property’s USP, your ultimate goal is to drive revenue, growth and retention.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone that has some previous sales experience, ideally within the hospitality/events industry. Enthusiastic and naturally intuitive, particularly when it comes to customer needs, you’ll need to have great communication skills along with the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships at all levels.
