Weddings Sales & Marketing Specialist
The Wedding Sales & Marketing Executive is a key role for our business, taking responsibility for handling and converting wedding and social enquiries from initial stages through to final details, followed by accurately communicating the client requirements to the operational team prior to the event itself. Your aim will be to ensure customers’ expectations are met and exceeded throughout this process, in turn supporting the achievement of the property’s budget and targets.
Sitting within a Sales Office team of 7, a key part of this role is to actively promote our venue effectively for weddings and special events through various channels, conducting show rounds as well as organising Wedding Showcases to highlight the property to the local wedding and banqueting market.
Licensed for outdoor wedding ceremonies with 38 acres of stunning grounds as a beautiful backdrop, this is a key wedding venue within Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. Events can range from 20 to 200, with an average wedding involving 60 day and 100 evening guests.
We are continually looking to increase the number of events held annually including weddings and would be looking for this individual to be a part of the team to help us achieve this.
Who we are looking for?
This is a great opportunity for someone who has previous experience of working in a Wedding or Events sales role, ideally within an upper 4* quality hotel/events centre. Experience of promoting a venue via social media and third party wedding sites would be advantageous.
Our ideal candidate will be sales and customer focussed with the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive, can do attitude. A strong organiser, you’ll possesses excellent time management skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure our guests receive the best possible standard for their event.
Communication skills are key, allowing you to build strong and effective working relationships across the business and to create a rapport with guests.
You will also be IT literate and it would be beneficial for you to have some knowledge of Opera.
